Hello everybody! How was life without me? Boring? Yes, I know, but know you can be happy again because I'm back!
"And there was much rejoicing in the land. 'Yay...'"~Monty Python's The Holy Grail
Anyway... D.C. was awesome! If you didn't already know, Casey, my mom and I went to Washington D.C. on Thursday. It was so much fun! We saw the Freer Gallery of Art, the monument, the Capitol, Chinatown, the International Spy Museum, the house where Lincoln died after he was shot and the Holocaust museum.
Thursday: First was the monument. Casey and I were playing on these over sized vents that blew really strong air out. We looked like idiots, but it was fun :p Next, we saw the Capitol. We didn't go in, we just saw it. The Freer Gallery of Art was cool. Lots of art... Finally, on our way back to the hotel, we saw this spot where there was a huge banner and a little table with four people sitting on the grass. Behind them were hundreds of backpacks all spread out. It looked like a cemetery. When we got closer we found out that each backpack was dedicated to a student who committed suicide and the banner read "Last year 1,100 students committed suicide. Stop student suicide." It was really moving.
Friday: After Casey and I managed to wake up-around 11:00am-we went to Chinatown to eat. Then we saw the International Spy Museum. It was amazing. The unbelievable things spies do and use. It was a really big museum, but really amazing. When you walk in, you're given a cover and a mission. It's really fun and we learned about all these famous people back in the 70's and 80's who were actually spies! (ex. John Ford and Josephine Baker) Last was the Ford's Theater-where President Lincoln got shot. But they were doing repairs and wouldn't open until May. So we saw the house across the street where he died.
Saturday: We saw the Holocaust museum. Oh. My. Gosh. That is a scary place. It was all about the Holocaust when Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany and wanted to create the perfect race. He created an army of people who agreed with him called the Nazis and killed and tortured all Jews. He thought that Jews were "inferior" to his perfect German race. Scary. Sick. Disturbed. Unnatural. It was terrible. There was one part where they had a huge hole with hundreds and hundreds of shoes. The room was all white and completely bare except for the shoes and this poem (as best as I can remember it):
"We are shoes, the last witnesses.
We are the shoes who,
only because we are made of leather and cloth and not flesh and bone,
were saved from the hellfire"~ *name not available*
But on a slightly brighter note, let me tell you about my Amtrak ride to and from D.C. My goal was to listen to the 40 MCR songs I have on my iPod straight through without skipping anything. I got to 35 going to D.C. before Casey got bored and wanted to get a snack. Grr... Then, on the way back, I got caught up talking to Casey and only listened to 37! So close, yet...
Well, off to enjoy my day. Hope you enjoyed my unbearably long post! Bye!

LOL
Okay, my friend Hanon writes the most hilarious posts so I copied this from her blog.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have ever tripped over air, copy this into your profile
Weird is good, strange is bad, and odd is when you don't know which to call someone. Weird is the same as different, which is the same as unique, than weird is good. So if your weird please copy this onto your profile/blog thingy.
If you have ever fallen up the stairs copy this into your profile
92 percent of American teens would die if Abecrombie and Fitch told them it was uncool to breathe. Copy this into your profile if you would be in the 8 percent laughing their asses off at the others.
98 percent of the Teenage population drinks or has been around alcohol.Copy this into your profile if you like bagels.
Things to do at Walmart...
1. Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
2. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the rest rooms.
3. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone, 'Code 3' in housewares and see what happens.
4. Go the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on lay away.
5. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
6. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring in pillows from the bedding department.
7. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'
8. Look right into the security camera; use it as a mirror, and pick your nose.
9. While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the anti- depressants are.
10. Dart around the store suspiciously loudly humming the Mission Impossible theme.
11. Hide in a clothing rack; when people browse through, say PICK ME!
12. When an announcement comes over the loudspeaker, assume the fetal position and scream "NO! NO! It's those voices again!! "
13. Go into a fitting room and shut the door and wait a while; and then yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!"

Yep, that's Hanon for you!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!
Ooh girls just fun! That's all they want!....What?! The title started it! :(

This is not my mom, by the way. All of the pictures I'm going to put up are HT models. Well, I got this choker and these awesome pants!

Yesterday was a great shopping day. I got all that stuff above and a bunch of new shirts at Old Navy.
Today my mother and I are going to get our nails done because we're going to D.C. with Casey tomorrow. Yay! So, off I go to get my shower and head to Broadway. Talk later!
p.s. If you wanted to know what MCR DVD I have (see earlier post) it's this one:

p.s.s. I'm painting my finger nails silver! (don't ask me about my toes, I'm stuck on that)

Tag!
I've been tagged by cowgirl4christ at www.cowgirl4christ3168.blogspot.com! Apparently I have to tag 5 other people and then write 6 weird things about myself. So here is the very sad list of people I've tagged:
Casey @ www.bobtriedtostealmycookie.blogspot.com
Hanon @ www.themonkeysarecalling.blogspot.com
I know there are only two people, but I only know 4 and cowgirl4christ and smithers have already been tagged. So... 6 weird things about myself. This shouldn't be too hard.
1) Hmmm... Well for starters, I can't get through a sentence without relating it to a song. I'll be sitting there in class and my friend will say something like "He thinks he's so cool" and I'll break out in song singing Kill All Your Friends by My Chemical Romance. "You're so cool, you're so cool, so cool!" and she'll look at me like I just cut off my own finger. Take it, I do this all the time. My friends want to murder me by the end of the day. I can't watch any thing or listen to anything without playing a song in my head. (this isn't the best of qualities, especially when your teacher is giving a very serious lecture and you start thinking of Blood when she says "I expect cooperation...")
2) Okay, don't laugh. It sounds stupid but it's not. It's just......dumb. So, when I'm home alone I like to look up the lyrics to my favorite songs and I sing. Out loud. Really loud. Alone. Yeah, I know I'm strange, but I'm too embarrassed to sing well in front of people so I practice by myself. It's quite fun, actually. Of course I probably sound terrible, but know one is around to tell me so. (gosh, my poor neighbors)
3) I like blood. No, I don't like death, or torture, or severed limbs. I like blood. It looks cool. It feels weird. It's fun. It gets weirder. I don't like when people are bleeding to death or if their head got chopped off, I just like blood on it's own. Like viles in doctors' offices and music videos like All Around Me by Flyleaf. I LOVE the contrast of blood on white. It's so pretty.
4) Ice-cream trucks scare me. So does cereal (hence, my very first post I wrote on the last page of my blog). That's right. It's not The Voices again. Ice-cream trucks and cereal. Why? Well, for starters, I watch way too many horror movies. So, as a result, vampires could suck the blood of a radio-active cow who eats zombie girls that live in a haunted house and are taken care of by a werewolf who is married to a ghost who eats people's livers after they've been tortured by the psycho in the cave for all I care. Cereal mascots, ice-cream trucks and carnivals are what scare the living $#@! out of me. ("Teenagers scare the living sh*t out of me!" Sorry...)
5) Hmm. Well, I know there are weird things about me, but I'm just scared someone will track me down and put me in an assylum if I share them :P See, I'm kind of a pyromaniac. Okay, I promise I don't have emotional issues. I just like fire. I LOVE watching things burn. It's really cool. I could sit in front of a fire place and watch wood slowly break apart and turn to ash for hours. If I had a fire place, I would burn all my school work when we are done with it. Every time something annoys me, I always want ot burn it (this does not include people. Like I said before, I am a happy, emotionally stable person).
6) I love to talk. I can talk and talk and talk for hours at a time, usually starting with something pointless and then branching off into hundreds of topics. I can start talking about squirells and end up talking about books. This is how it goes->
squirrels-they throw acorns like bombs-warfare-the war in Iraq-songs that have to do with the war-Mama by MCR-MCR-how hardly anyone who's LDS likes MCR-church-how our church doesn't like gays-the book Rainbow Boys-books
Trust me, it can go on. I just put that to show you how many topics I can branch off into in one conversation starting with something really mundane.
Okay, that's not the weird part. The weird part is if someone says "lets talk about some thing" I have nothing to talk about. Which is terrible when it comes to ELA and we have to talk about our books. I hate being forced to talk about books. I just want to read!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I hoped you enjoyed learning new things about me. Even if you never read my blog again because I weird you out. (I would actually find that quite amusing)

39... Again?
Today we (the Cantare division of YPC) sang at some old lady's birthday party. Her foundation gives a lot of money to YPC and she's never missed a family concert- ever. So, we surprised her by singing Give Us Hope, Walk in Jerusalem, When I Sing and finally, Happy Birthday(we cut Beauty in a Moment). They say she turns 39 every year. lol :p

Scattered Events
I saw the cute, gay guy today! Barely caught him, almost missed him. Anyway, on to less boring news: I WENT TO VIRGIN ON SUNDAY! Virgin is an awesome store. Anything that relates to music in anyway is at Virgin. OMG. Guess what I got. AWESOME MCR AND FOB POSTERS! and on top of that... THE GREATEST MCR BAG EVER!!! Here's a pic->

Isn't that awesome?! And here's my Fall Out Boy poster->

I couldn't find a picture of my MCR poster, but I can assure you it's great. I also got a My Chemical Romance DVD and.... 2 MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE T-SHIRTS!!! (I got those off their website, it's cheaper than Virgin) So I am very happy. Also, Friday is my last day before spring break and my friend, Casey, and I are going to Washington D.C.! Yay!
Well, other than my usual ranting about MCR, we had student appreciation day today. I was invited. We had pizza and soda, it was really fun. Only 50 kids out of the 240 7th and 8th graders in our school were invited. Crazy, right?
Well, well, what do I have to talk about? Friday I have a YPC concert to sing in. We're singing Give Us Hope, When I Sing, Walk In Jerusalem and Beauty In A Moment. You can listen to Give Us Hope and When I Sing at www.ypc.org/songs.
Oh and there's a great band called Breaking Benjamin and this is one of my favorite songs of theirs:
Diary of Jane
Breaking Benjamin-Diary of Jane
If I had to
I would put myself right beside you
So let me ask
Would you like that?
Would you like that?
And I don't mind
If you say this love is the last time
So now I'll ask
Do you like that?
Do you like that?
No!
Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
So tell me how it should be.
Try to find out what makes you tick.
As I lie down
Sore and sick.
Do you like that?
Do you like that?
There's a fine line between love and hate.
And I don't mind.
Just let me say that
I like that
I like that
Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
As I burn another page,
As I look the other way.
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
So tell me how it should be.
Desperate, I will crawl
Waiting for so long
No love, there is no love.
Die for anyone
What have I become?
Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
As I burn another page,
As I look the other way.
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
