Do you remember the article about the 13-year-old girl hanging herself? Well, My Chem has spoken! Here is what they posted on their website:

Hey, people, what's up? Today was like any other Wednesday, really. My friend Jason wasn't at school today. Hope he's okay, cause he came to school with stitches over his eye because "I was tryin ta do a tricky skateboarding trick, but I landed on my head". Smart, right?

A Great Day
Hello fellow human beings! The bowling trip was awesome! I went bowling with the 7th and 8th grade at Harlem Lanes and it was so much fun! Even though my team got split up and I kept getting kicked out of teams and stood around like an idiot for a while, it was great. I'm better at bowling than I thought I would be especially since I haven't gone bowling in, like, 5 years. I had to pay Skylar $1 though, because I lost the bet that I could beat him. Grrr....
After shoveling down my lunch with David right before we started, I- like any normal human being- was thirsty. So after my second turn, I went to get a soda. Big mistake. I was in line so long that, with six people on the team, I missed 2 of my turns. When I finally got to the cashier, the lady gave me 1) seltzer instead of sprite 2) $8 instead of $18. So, she took the "sprite" back, gave me $9 more and took FOREVER to give me my soda and another dollar.
It was awesome, though, cause I had fun bowling and even though Christian tried and failed to win me Brian (from Family Guy) in one of those machines, I had a great time hanging with my friends that I don't usually spend much time with.
Back at school, we all watched the beginning of Spider Man 1 before leaving. Unfortunately, I bit of all my nails and chipped all my nail polish. That always happens with movies.
At 7:00, my girl friends from church and I had dinner at Sister Cameron's apartment for our Young Women leaders, Amy and Natalie, who are moving! *tear tear* It was fun, even though Carrie was asleep when we got there and asleep when we left. Her mom said she just got back from D.C. and it was impossible to wake her up. :)
Well, I'm off to re-paint my nails and begin my cucumber-ization. Talk later!

A real post!
Hi everybody! Wow it seems like forever since I actually wrote a post that didn't have to do with My Chemical Romance. Well... A lot has happened, so I'm going to start with school.
Guess what? I got an 100% on my notebook! Our ELA teacher grades our reading and writing notebooks every time we complete a unit and I got a 98% on my writer's and an 100% on my reader's! Yay! I wrote a poem about her(I'm not going to put her last name for the sake that she doesn't know I'm posting about her and I've changed the name of other people in the poem):
Monday for Claire
The hall is empty
but not for long.
Hold on tight, Claire,
stay strong.
A sleepless night,
another call.
Here they come,
once again down the hall.
"Get in line!
Listen up!"
"Jason-
shut up!"
"Quiet, [Casey], all eyes
on me.
Copy down the mini-lesson
and sit in your seat."
Down the hall come more
laughing and playing.
How can I go through the day
without saying
something rash that's on my mind.
Another parent meeting (ugh).
Just bite my tongue. Sigh.
They talk, they go slow.
"Shh! Copy the mini-lesson!"
Don't they know?
I had another argument
with mother last night.
Then [brother] and I
had a fight.
I couldn't sleep.
I need to call [Jake].
I'll be late tonight,
for our date.
"Sit down!
Look at me!"
I'm frustrated as it is.
Can they not see?
Talking back again
and again.
Like being in a bad mood
is some kind of sin.
Suck it up
keep control.
For them I do
more and more.
But they take for granted
the help I give.
All they do is complain
of the life they live.
I stick up for them in meetings
I care, I really do.
They would have more respect
if they really knew
how much I work,
how much I suffer
so they can roll their eyes and chat too their neighbor.
Why do I still care?
All they care about is clothes and hair.
Their ignorance frustrates me
to no end.
I have a life,
I need money to spend.
So with all of my worries
on my mind,
I will walk among the unforgiving ignorant
until 9:25
Did you like? She said it was hilarious and that I'm really talented :D lol!
Today we went to see a musical at the school Talent Unlimited. The play was boring, the sound system was bad and the girls showed a lot of skin, but the singing was good. Then, we went to the park and ate lunch. I was trying to be alone, but Casey came over to chat (which was fine), but she's really popular and all her friends came with her. Ugh. Popular kids annoy me. Then Casey bought me a Froz Fruit [thank you Casey! :)] on the way back and a trip that was supposed to go until right after lunch ended up being all day! Woo hoo!
On Friday, we're going bowling. Yay!
So, that's the news for school and today. Now let's see.... Oh yeah! I'm here to bring up.....Labels!
Well, on Monday I was officially labeled "Emo". It was my first day in school with my black nail polish and I was wearing the Ripper MCR shirt. On top of that, my friend read my poems that I wrote and her and her friend officially labeled me Emo. That was confirmed by my friend from YPC when she saw my shirt, nails, poems and MCR bag with all my buttons on it. Of course, she's also considered Emo, so she thought it was cool that she had an "Emo buddy".
Poetry leads me into two of my fave poems that I wrote:
Pretentious Ecstasy
Smile
Laugh
Pretend
Watch the sun go down
and believe everything is alright.
Watch children play
and don't think
it might be their day.
Does it matter if you scream
silent and dead?
If you look at the stars
do you wish they would fall?
When you see the rain
on your window
do you wish you would drown
in your lost pain?
And will you scream?
Will you care?
Or will you
smile
laugh
and pretend.
The End.
Will we run until
the end?
Hand in hand,
smiles in tears
and will we go
until
the end?
When day fades,
I think of your face.
I don't know
how to let you
see my heart
and let you know
how much you mean
and that I would take
your hand
and run
and cry
until
the end
with you.
Alone and together.
You made my heart
beat.
My blood
thaw
and so I think
I
Love
You
Until
The
End.
The End.
How did you like it? I just write off the top of my head while I'm listening to music.
Well, speaking of poems and Emo, I wanted to share with you this article.
Girl, 13, hangs herself after becoming obsessed with Emo 'suicide cult' rock band
Can you believe this? This author is so ill-informed! Right off the back, "though you're dead and gone believe me your memory will go on"? Excuse me, but if you're going to dis My Chem at least try. First, the author didn't even have the integrity to check if the lyrics were correct. It's CARRY on, thank you very much! And, if you ask me, My Chem has way more disturbing and morbid lyrics than that. "Can you stake my heart?!", "I think I'll blow my brains against the ceiling!", "Singing songs that make you slit your wrists.", "The amount of pills I've taking, counteracts the booze I'm drinking". C'mon! Oh, yeah, the memory of a loved one carrying on really makes me want to go kill myself!
Secondly, the girl obviously had emotional issues before listening to MCR. Two weeks is not enough time for something tragic to happen, then to get depressed, then kill yourself. Please, MCR might have morbid and exaggerated lyrics, but the band's music/lyrics are not what she committed suicide over. They have very meaningful lyrics that send out a good message if you look beyond the harsh words. Gerard has made it clear that he has made mistakes in his life, but he has learned and he wants his fans to know that suicide is never the answer.
Also, she was obviously suicidal. She made threats to kill herself! That is a major red light. Also, she showed her father the cuts on her arms, and what did he do? I'm sorry, but the author makes it seem as if the dad didn't do anything and accepted her answer of it being part of her "emo initiation". I would get my daughter major therapy! Also, the mother knew she was being strange and acting/dressing very depressingly, but she just thought it was okay because it was a fashion? Does she think it's okay? Who's in control here, mom? She was crying out for attention. She definitely had major emotional problems. I feel really bad for her.
Also, what's with The Black Parade? If you're "Emo" you are officially suicidal and think that you're going to join a marching band of skeletons when you finally succeed in killing yourself? I know where I'm going and it does not include The Black Parade.
MCR head of a "suicide cult"? I don't think so. Ever heard of Marilyn Manson? So you are going to tell me that MCR is the leader of a suicide cult. No thank you. The author didn't even do any research! And, the last time I checked, My Chem was never nominated to be the forerunner of a suicide cult.
Well, there you have it! My extremely long post. To express more outrage on the article, you can post on this: www.cowgirl4christ3168.blogspot.com/2008/05/my-chemical-suicide.html
Gotta sleep eventually! See ya!

Madison Square Garden
Wow, wow, wow. The people. MY people. The screaming, the music, the lights... I know I was there, but was he? Were they? There were no noises after, my ears were shut down. My throat was killing me and my head was about to explode, but I could care less. I was in shock, and I still am. I cannot believe I saw him. Heard him. I was in the same room as him!!!! Wow.
About 7:20: I'm riding up escalator and escalator and escalator and escalator..... The show started at 7:30 and I was late! Finally, I get to the very top of tower D and run to section, row C, seat 3. Madison Square Garden was amazing! But get this: It wasn't as big and crowded as I thought. Sure it filled up after Drive By and Taking Back Sunday played, but up at the top where I was, there was no one directly in front or on either side of me. I was actually sad. I wanted to get the feel of people screaming in my ear(I know it's strange). It was great though because I wasn't as high up as I thought and I could actually see the stage very clearly from where I was sitting.
So, after soaking in my surroundings, Drive By was finally ready to play. I don't remember the songs. I don't remember what they looked like or what they did. I DO remember the incredible screaming in my ear when they came on and the amazing lighting! I was mesmerized. If any one was looking, they could tell it was my first time in MSG because I sat there wide-eyed glaring at the stage and occasionally looking around to see the amazing effects. I thought "I could be up there. It could really happen. I can do it. I will do it." I have to say, Drive By built amazing suspension for My Chemical Romance. "Thank you so much! I know you can't wait because Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance will be playing!" he said and did we scream! I loved it when he said "I wanna see if you're from New Jersey!" and about half the crowd screamed. "Now let me see New York!" and the other half (including myself) screamed. Apparently, it was his father's birthday because he made us all scream "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL!"
Finally, Taking Back Sunday. They pumped some great energy into the crowd and had awesome mega-bright strobe lights that gave me a headache. And they were loud! I waited. And waited. And waited. They left. My heart was pumping so fast, I was afraid it wasn't possible to get enough oxygen. I sat. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited......
The lights went out. The crowd screamed bloody-murder. And then the guitar. I stood and screamed and stared. And....Boom! There he was! Gerard Way! To his right was Frank Iero and Mikey F*cking Way(according to his shirt), to his left was Ray Toro and directly behind him was Bob Bryar. They started with Give Em' Hell Kid. After he said "I cannot believe we are in f*cking Madison Square Garden!"
I'm not exactly sure of the order, but he sang The Sharpest Lives shortly after. There was also This is How I Disappear and House of Wolves (in which Gerard couldn't help but howl before he started singing). Then, he did a wave with us that he said he'd only done once before in the UK. It was awesome! He was starting from his left and some girl said to start the other way and he said "Since when? Well, they say this way and I believe them." and the crowd cheered in agreement.
That was so cool! :p Well, sometime next he-or should I say we-sang Welcome to the Black Parade. He held the microphone out as he conducted our perfect chorus of "When I was! A young boy! My father! Took me into the city! To see a marching band!..." It was so amazing. There was no one sitting around me and I didn't come with any friends. And yet, I felt like I knew each and every person there and and they knew me and we were family. We sang together, screamed together, danced together and had the time of our lives together. Singing Welcome to the Black Parade really truly gave me "heartache to sing". We pumped our fists and sang "I'm just a man! I'm not a hero!..." It gave me chills.
During the show he did many of his famous things such as rocking back and forth, jumping up and down, and making us bounce, wave our arms, clap our hands and pump our fists. We did all the things a good audience was supposed to.
Next was Dead! which was great because everybody sang the la's perfectly as we clapped our hands over our head. Great moment.
After that, he sang My Way Home Is Through You which he dedicated to his wife Lyn Z. It was great screaming "We ain't here to pay a compliment, or sing about the government, or oxycotton genocide, or adolescent suicide!" It was amazing.
I'm not sure, don't trust me 100% on anything, but I think Headfirst for Halos was next. Then, I think it might have been You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison. Actually, I think I'm wrong, but who cares?! So, that was, of course, amazing. After, he told the story of him and Mikey seeing the Smashing Pumpkins and Mikey saying he wanted them to be up there one day. "'Okay, Mikey' I said. 'Okay'"
Then they played Famous Last Words. We sang our hearts out and I could feel the emotion coming from the band. They wrote that song when they were all going through tough times and it really means a lot to them. And you could tell. The power was amazing, we all felt it.
Then, Bob took a picture of Gerard and MSG before Teenagers. It was awesome! We sang loud and clear and pumped our fists screaming "Teenagers scare! The living sh*t out of me!" It was AWESOME!
Next was Headfirst for Halos. LOVED IT!
Then, Gerard told us we were pathetic and would never fit in and they started playing I'm Not Okay (I Promise). It was so cool, we filled in for Gerard during "I'm o-kay. I'm o-" and my GOSH, that man can scream! He screamed "-KAY!" so hard, I thought he would start spitting up blood! It was scary! But he kept singing to the end of the song. Wow.
Oh! Oh! WAY before this he sang I Don't Love You, but I can't remember when, so I'll tell you about it now. People (including myself) held up their cellphones and waved their arms back and forth. He was great.
Okay, so after Teenagers was Mama. You should of heard the crowd SCREAM when they heard the soft bounce of the tune to Mama coming from the stage. We screamed and yelled and pumped our fists. It was so awesome!
He did Cancer and when he sang the last line he said "Cause the hardest part of this, is leaving-" and he threw his arms out to the crowd as we sang "you". After everyone settled down he grabbed his mic and sang "you" which sent us all screaming. Then he left and played a beautiful piano piece, it was gorgeous. He came back on and sang Cemetery Drive.
Then, he did Desert Song which he's only done in the UK. "Everyone hold those cellphones up, I have to see that sh*t in the air." he said before starting. It was gorgeous, he sang it by himself as we all waved our cells. They looked like stars, dots of light all moving different directions at slightly different paces. Beautiful. My heart melted from the power and emotion, I love that song.
Next was Sleep. Stunningly powerful moment. The cellphones and... the singing. Not screaming, or belting- singing. The crowd was singing softly. We all felt the meaning of the song, and whether our interpretations were different than our neighbor's or not, we all felt the song sacred and respected it. (of course, belting out "tyranny!" and "apathy!", etc.)
Finally, the last song that The Black Parade would ever sing. He started by having us repeat after him. Ex.:
Gee: "Whoa oh oh!"
Crowd: "Whoa oh oh!"
Then, both of us sang Helena. At the end, we all knew he wasn't just singing a song. It really was so long and goodnight. Goodbye My Chemical Romance.

Okay, breathe Savy! Calm down! Okay, I'm good. I'm okay....No I'm not. (I'm not okay! You wear me out!) Why am I not okay? (other than the fact that I've been waiting for this since MARCH!) Well... I'm sick. But I'm determined to get better! I left school early today. If I don't go to school tomorrow I will do everything in my power to get better before the concert! Missing it is NOT an option. Even if I don't get better. But I will! I will! I will! I will!
I would write more, but I'm going to go rest. I'll write a major post covering all the things I've neglected after the concert.
Will write more tomorrow! See ya!

7 Days! (of nocturnal vegetation)
A WEEK UNTIL MY CONCERT! OMG! AAAAAH! Luckily, I have my outfit picked out (my black skinny jeans, my converse, my choker, and a Black Parade T-shirt) and I've gotten permission to paint my nails black, so no worries there. It's just the anticipation of seeing and hearing MCR live in MSG (though there will definitely be more hearing and less seeing).

8 Days! And other stuff...
8 DAYS UNTIL MY CONCERT AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN! WOOT! WOOT!
My gosh, I can't believe I'm writing a post, I need to be finishing my reading project due tomorrow. But I have faith in myself. I am a major procrastinator and I always do everything at the last minute. The good thing is, I work well under pressure so I always get everything done. Actually, I work better under pressure than not because-out of my procrastinating nature-when I have a lot of time I think "I don't need to work that hard, I have time" and I end up thinking that until the day before. Then I freak and do everything in one night. But I am, always have and always will be, an A student, so I guess it's working! :p
Anyway...we got our pictures back from picture day. Ugh. I think I might hate picture day more than Valentines Day, and that is saying something. I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate my picture. What's the point of picture day anyway? Just snap a photo of yourself on your own time for free! (but they are face down and bloated snap a shot with the lens! If you marry me...)
Tomorrow's a half day! Woot! Woot! If I can get through science, drama, and two periods of ELA, I'll be free! Alive once again! (I'm alive! I'm alive! I'm alive! I can feel you all around me...)Alive...If my ELA teacher doesn't get me first! (yes, I thought of yet another song and yes I have sparred you of it) I better finish my project. Adios!
